On-site Interior Design

In-person design support for projects that benefit from being shaped on site, from renovations to more complex room transformations.

I work as an independent designer, taking on a limited number of projects at a time to ensure each space is guided with care, clarity, and attention to detail.

This service is particularly suited to projects where:

  • the layout or structure is changing and decisions need to be made in context

  • multiple trades are involved and clarity on site avoids costly mistakes

  • proportions, sightlines, or natural light need to be assessed in person

  • materials, finishes, or joinery details benefit from being reviewed on site

While every project is different, on-site support often includes guidance on:

  • Spatial planning and room layouts

  • Joinery, cabinetry and built-in design

  • Materials, finishes and colour direction

  • Lighting placement and atmosphere

  • Furniture selection and placement

  • Soft furnishings, window treatments and styling

  • Coordinating with trades during key stages

  • In-person decisions that benefit from being made on site

How we’ll work together

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A consultation is a relaxed, focused conversation about your space and what you’d like to achieve.
We’ll talk through how the room works now, what feels unresolved, and where you’d like to go next.
You’ll have space to ask questions, and I’ll share initial thoughts and guidance tailored to your home.

The consultation helps us decide whether working together feels like the right fit, with no pressure to continue.

  • No, consultations are offered as a standalone service and are charged to reflect the time, preparation, and professional guidance involved.

Details and availability are shared once you get in touch.

  • There’s very little to prepare.
Ahead of our session, it’s helpful to gather:

    • a few photos of the space

    • any rough measurements you already have

    • notes on what’s working, what isn’t, and what matters most to you

You don’t need a finished brief, clarity often comes during the conversation.

  • For online consultations, you can share photos, short videos, or join the call from your space if that feels easiest.

For on-site consultations, we’ll walk through the room together so I can understand proportions, light, and flow in person.

I’ll guide you through what’s most useful to look at, you don’t need to stage or prepare the space.

  • After the consultation, you’ll leave with:

    • clearer direction for your space

    • answers to the questions you were feeling stuck on

    • an understanding of possible next steps

    • a follow-up PDF summarising key ideas, recommendations, and points to explore further

If we decide to move forward, I’ll outline how I can support you further and suggest the most suitable service for your project.
