Design concept
The client wanted a peaceful, restorative bedroom with a strong connection to the garden. They are avid readers and wanted space for curated book collection, practical storage and a relaxed seating area, without the room feeling heavy or overly traditional. The design needed to feel calm, timeless and personal.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Bespoke joinery was designed to integrate shelving, storage and seating, with considered lighting and architectural detail to create a cohesive, restful space.
The Design
The custom bed platform with hidden storage is paired with a tailored bookcase and a full-height wardrobe that conceals a door to the ensuite bathroom. The bathroom itself features striking patterned tiles, adding contrast to the terracotta tones of the room.
A reading nook overlooking the indoor garden doubles as a space for relaxation or exercise, connecting daily rituals with nature. Soft rugs and natural textures complete the layered, serene atmosphere - a true retreat for modern living.
